Signs of the chancre

Question: What signs in solid chancre?

The answer: The following signs are characteristic for the solid chancre:

  • small sizes (to the small coin),
  • correct rounded or oval outlines,
  • the smooth cyanotic- red bottom, gently sloping (patelliform) of edge,
  • plotnoelasticheskiy (gristly) infiltration in the base.
    The uncomplicated solid chancre in effect painless and is not accompanied by the signs of sharp inflammation.

The answer: The diagnosis of syphillis is based on the clinical manifestations, the results of the inspection of the assumed source, the required laboratory investigation (detection of pale treponem, positive serological reactions - RiF, RIT). As source for studies for pale treponemy serve discharge of solid chancre, erosive and becoming wet papules and contents of pustulous sifilidov.


Innate syphillis

Question: How does occur infection with innate syphillis?

The answer: With innate syphillis the infection proceeds intrauterine from the sick mother (pale treponema it penetrates the organism of the fruit through the placenta). Early (of up to 4 years) and late (after 4 years) innate syphillis is distinguished. Syphillis of fruit concludes with its loss on 6-7 month of the pregnancy (not earlier than 5). Dead fruit is born only on 3-4-1 days. It is noted with early innate syphillis

  • the defeat of the skin,
  • the defeat of the bones and cartilages,
  • the defeat of teeth,
  • the defeat of internal organs.
